Come experience Rattlesnake Ridge! This well-loved single-track gem of the eastern Issaquah Alps divides the Snoqualmie River Valley from the vast Cedar River Watershed. The course features a climb through diverse forest types and peekaboo views of the Snoqualmie Valley.

5K

Runners head up on Upward Mobility, then down Rattlesnake Mountain Trail back to Snoqualmie Point Park.
Elevation gain: 575 feet

5.8 MILE

Runners will head up on Upward Mobility, then into the Raging River Forest along the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail. Elevation gain: 1090 feet

HALF MARATHON

From the start at Snoqualmie Point Park, runners will cross into the Raging River Forest on their way to circling past Rattlesnake Mountain West Peak, along the Raging Ridge to Rattlesnake Mountain Middle Peak before looping back past Grand Prospect along the way to the finish at Snoqualmie Point Park, with views of the Olympics and Mt Rainier.
Elevation gain: about 2650 ft

The aid stations offer water, Scratch Labs hydration sports drink, and some carbohydrate-rich or salty foods, such as cookies, pieces of energy bar, gels, chews, chips, bagel, fruity candy, fig bars, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and bananas.

Directions and Parking

DIRECTIONS

Depending on your carrier, you may not have cell reception at or while approaching the park. Directions to Snoqualmie Point Park:

Take I-90 (East from Seattle or Issaquah) to Exit 27 Snoqualmie/ North Bend.
Keep right to continue toward Winery Road
Continue 0.4 mile on Winery Road to the Snoqualmie Point Park at 37580 Winery Road

The lower parking lot is free but fills up. Those parking in the upper parking lot will need to display a Discover Pass, which can be purchased online.

Safety, Etiquette, Dogs

GENERAL SAFETY
The trails will be open to other users during the event, including pedestrians with pets, and cyclists. Participants are responsible for their own safety while participating, and the organizers are neither qualified nor equipped to render medical care in the event of a serious injury. In case of an emergency, call 9-1-1. You are encouraged to bring a cell phone with you as a safety precaution, if you wish.

RESPIRATORY VIRUS SAFETY

Outdoors settings are among the safest, due to the open air dissipating virus particles to greatly reduce the risk of transmission. But we ask that you please stay home and request a refund or credit if you have COVID-19 or another contagious respiratory virus. We also encourage getting your flu and COVID-19 shots when possible and wearing an N95 respirator mask to limit your own exposure in confined spaces or when you can’t keep a safe distance.

PASSING ETIQUETTE
Where the trails are narrow, please let other participants pass you if they want to get by. It is a passing runner’s job to tell the person in front that they wish to pass.

HEADPHONES
If you’d like to listen to music while you’re on the course, please use headphones or earbuds, so that runners around you can’t hear it. Others may prefer a quieter event experience or may have different musical tastes. Runners playing music in the open air may be asked to leave the event.

Also, keep the volume low enough that you can hear someone talking to you in a normal voice, for example, another runner saying they would like to pass on your left.

DOGS
Our events are USATF sanctioned and subject to USATF policies, and so dogs are not allowed to accompany runners on the course.
