2018 Lake Hills 50k Relay

50k solo, team relay, and 5k

SHOES-n-FEET store, Bellevue, WA

Gather up some friends and join the inaugural 50k relay (2-5 runners) on a 5k out-and-back route on the mostly wide and flat Lake Hills Greenbelt trails, with only a few short stretches of pavement. There will be a Hangout Zone set aside in the parking lot for each team to set up a canopy, chairs, etc. Think running race tailgating! We encourage team costumes and will be giving out spirit awards.

Registration

Registration is by team, and the team registration price is according to team size and registration date. Register early to take advantage of the early registration deals.

If plans change and you later need to reduce your team size, you may be eligible for an entry credit toward another Northwest Trail Runs event.

If you end up needing to increase your team size, you can add individual members, and they will be able to register separately at this page.

The total team cost will be a bit higher if members are added separately, since accepting registrations for an entire team at once makes things smoother for our staff.

Q: What if I don’t know who all my team members will be yet?

A: Just list as many names as you can now, and put “TBD” (to be determined) for the rest. We’ll provide a way to submit additional team member info later.

The fee for adding a member to an existing team is based on the date that the team member registers: $35 by 1/20, $40 by 3/17, $45 by 5/3, and $55 on event day.

What does registration include?

In addition to team entry for the relay, registration includes these things:

Brooks technical running T-shirt with Lake Hills 50k Relay design for each participant
Designated hangout zone for each team
Well-provisioned aid stations on course, including water, Gu energy products and Gnarly Hydrate electrolyte drink, as well as a variety of other snacks
Tasty finish line refreshments and fun raffle prizes

The course is 60% on wide crushed gravel paths, 21% on woodchip-covered trails, and 19% on a paved sidewalk or path.

The aid station will be located just north of the road crossing at Lake Hills Blvd, so runners will pass it approximately 1.1 and 2.0 miles into the race

The start and finish will be at the SHOES-n-FEET store located in Bellevue.
