Winter Trail Series Standings, as of Absolution Run

The Winter Trail Series continues to heat up! Only two events remain: Interlaken Icicle Dash on January 24th and Frost Eagle on February 7th. See where you stand and who’s in the mix:

Women’s Standings

Men’s Standings

On the women’s side, Courtney Strand takes the lead, but Andrea Eberly and Kristin Riley appear poised to challenge her, and two-race runners Hillary Superak, Mona Deprey, Jesi Villamarin, and Katherine Robinson all have strong scores on the board and could garner top placings if they run well in the final two races in the series. Several other runners have an opportunity to bag a top placing based on their performances at Interlaken Icicle Dash and Frost Eagle, so this competition promises to be exciting right up until the final race.

Brian Nelson has a convincing lead among the men, with father and son, Ed and Michael Barney filling out the current top three. Dustin Hinkle has three good scores and would need wins in the last two races to have a chance of overtaking Brian. Farther down the list, Jacob Warren has two wins on the board and appears the strongest potential challenger, provided he can notch similarly good results in the final two races. Speedsters Rob Kyker and Colin Beazley are also well positioned to challenge for top spots if they run two more races.
