2014 Cedar River Run

09/13/2014

5-mile, Half Marathon, and Marathon

Saturday, September 13, 9:30am

Landsburg Park, Ravensdale, WA

The Cedar River Trail is a popular destination for berry pickers, picnickers, inner tubers, and of course, trail runners! Come enjoy a golden day of late summer at a trail run with mellow hills and a fun variety of trails.

The Cedar River Trail itself is a wide and virtually flat rail trail, while the surrounding forest hosts tracks that vary from straight ample-width paths with cushy footing under tall cedars to adventurous single-track winding between salal or salmonberry with a few rocks and roots.  The course is a potluck of trail types, mostly very easily runnable. After all, why load up on one entree, when you can try them all? There’s even a short beach section to mix it up.

Come enjoy a 5-mile, half marathon, or full marathon, on a pleasantly runnable course, and then take the short trail from the finish area to the Cedar River to cool your feet off afterwards.
